Kingoonya Waterhole Hotel is not permanently closing but doors will be closed temporally due to the death of one of the Hotel's Licensees - Colin Byrne. Maria is currently trying to sort out Liquor Licence and estate issues so that she can continue on with the great work that they started.

 

I spoke with Maria today and she is confident that the ensuing legal issue will be promptly dealt with and that she will be able to continue trading in a matter of a few weeks.

 

Maria wants everyone to know that the Annual Cricket day is still on and that she would love to see you there. Food and alcohol will be available on the weekend. So get your swags ready and we will see ya there in November.
