Maria and Vanessa are busy coping with the huge amounts of rain that have fallen around Kingoonya. As of Monday morning they have recorded 7.5 inches of rain.

The railway line is damaged and trains are held up in Tarcoola and Kingoonya whilst waiting for repair crews to fix the flood damage.

With the possibility of more rain today it may take some time for the repair crews to actually get to the line to begin work.
