News from Kingoonya.

Rain at last has come to many areas surrounding Kingoonya. For some it has meant that they no longer have to destock. We would love to hear some stories from Station owners in the surrounding areas about the recent rains and what it means to you, photos would also be great to share. You can email the photos and stories to jackie@kingoonya.org.au

Golf anyone?  There are current discussions about getting the Kingoonya Golf Course and club house operating again. A great idea but there is quite a lot to be done. Maybe we need to have a busy bee weekend in Kingoonya to get us started. Any volunteers?

Mineral and Geology display. Jacqueline has asked mineral enthusiast Quentin Smith of Quorn to help us put together a display of minerals/gems that are found in the surrounding areas. They hope to come up late March 2010 to do some serious fossicking. The display will be located in the Hotel until the Town Hall is ready.
